See how much he wants for the B-24. The Yankee Air Museum really, really wants one, since they were built at Willow Run, but they didn't leave any sitting around....

I wasn't aware he had a B-24.
And its being restored to airworthiness?
How many are left that can fly?...2?

It's been a number of years since the B-24 flew. He got it from Dave Tallichet.

Wow, it's been a long time since I went to Fantasy of Flight. Surprised to hear that it's still open. Enjoy your time there!

I was at Fantasy of Flight a few years ago. The B-24 looks to be restored, and I was told it was airworthy. As far as I know, only 2 are actively flying. The Yankee museum keeps searching....even sent a delegation to India in the '70's on a rumor that there were seven there for sale. Too good to be true, of course.
