Not sure if this is the right section, but for us modelers that are jones-ing for ecards any news about the site coming back up?

course not. but when you have ocd things like this nag like an itch you can't scratch, like a lottery you can't win, like pursuing a "10" when you are only a "7" like waiting for miss right but having to settle for miss right now like an addict waiting for his next fix like.............

I sympathize. I'm waiting for that Greek Canadair CL-415 water bomber. We have had those in Sweden this summer, on loan, from both France, Italy, and Portugal. Much appreciated help in fighting unusually sever forest fires. Still, nothing compared to what's going on in California, of course. - L.

California creates its own problems. You can't leave 50 years worth of detritus in a forest and not expect a problem. Take a lesson from the Native Americans and go back to doing controlled burns. Otherwise you can't expect a tinderbox never to burn

All I can say is I'm right between the two major fires and the air is unhealthy. Responsible forest and range management has always been the answer, but politicians don't get enough money from the people that advocate it.

they get the money. problem is they spend it on other useless things. New Orleans got funds each year to maintain their levees. spend it on other useless things. big storm came and they broke.

Let cattle graze there again. in time they along with a few goats will restore the forest to a healthier state.
