Garry has mentioned one of the most beautiful and moving songs ever. Some peaople say: If Johnny covered someone's song it was no longer a song of that person. And that's true...

I think I don't have a favorite one by JC but here's the list with his songs which I like the most(in random order):

"Hurt"
"Sunday Morning Coming Down"
"Folsom Prison Blues"
"Heart of Gold"
"Goin' by the Book"
"Get Rhythm"
"One"
"God's Gonna Cut You Down"
"Ragged Old Flag"
"Man in Black"
"One Piece at a Time"
"She Used To Love Me A Lot"
"General Lee"
"I Saw The Light"
"Ghost Riders in the Sky"
"Out Among The Stars"
"Ring of Fire"
"I Walk The Line"

Now don't get me wrong here ... I AM a big Johnny Cash fan, but I did realise a while back now that I am an even bigger Luther Perkins fan. His unusual self taught picking style is what really makes Johnny's recordings. The music just wasn't the same after Luther died.

I've not heard of this one before. Is it any good? Seems like it may be a documentary about the making of Bitter Tears, but I've not heard The "We're still here" track before.
Well, that took longer than expected ... I forget when the 'Look again to the wind' CD arrived, but it got put to one side and forgotten, and I've only just got around to playing it.

It's a nice tribute to JC, but nowhere near as good as the original. Really it just proves how good Johnny's voice was. I'm not sure where I picked up on a track called 'We're Still Here', as there isn't one on the CD. It would be good to hear 'Old Golden Throat' sing the title track though. It would have really suited his mellow voice.

I'm not much of a country fan, but there are certain standouts, like Johnny Cash. Saw him in concert twice. I had the first of his CDs he did while he was dying, covering other artists' songs primarily. Wish my son hadn't run off with it.

One of a kind artist
