Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Friend from around the world:
In the United States it is Thanksgiving, Shortened to Turkey day, Other cultures use a feast day at the end of the harvest season . I use the term Harvest home. May you have e4nought food to last the winter and into the new growing season. Took me from 6:30am till 7am to clean make stuffing from scratch and get the bird in the oven. now can coast for a while until time to make mashed potatoes from scratch, Corn and peas, Rolls made last night, apple salad, Apple pie and ice cream.
Enjoy,
Miles Linnabery
Have to eat early this year daughter has to work in the afternoon.

My Thanksgiving has me thankful that the raccoons decided to destroy last night instead of tonight

Called Claims this AM and it will be 24-48 'Business Hours' to hear from the adjuster. Rain is supposed to start around 5 or 6 AM tomorrow, with Rain and Snow Sunday. If I'd headed out of town for the extended weekend before this happened, I'd have had a much worse mess to return to.

All the hardware stores are closed, but my cousin who has rental houses gave me some tarpaper and rolled roofing to go over it until it can be properly repaired.

And a live trap so hopefully I can catch the varmint
