So glad, you are at it! When I recall the way the first internet homepages of the place where I work were done and how many times they had to be redone I am filled with sheer admiration for anyone who tackles the task of establishing a professional internet shop.

as a slight diversion heres a thought ,while waiting for ecards to sort things out there are plenty of good commercial model sites out there,so no shortage of models to build,some of them offer downloads for sale;if you have not been there ziestbouwplaten in netherlands have a whole plie of papertrades models as downloads for example

I kinda understand what the ecards guys are going through. There is no "out of the box" software that does what ecards does. I've been looking for it since I opened up my site. Back in the mid 2000s when I worked with Chip Fyn of FiddlersGreen, I got to see the behind the scenes of how that site was run. Chip had a dedicated web developer working full time to implement changes. He also told me it took them a year to get FiddlersGreen.net up and running. And that was with just one designer, a few hundred models, and one payment system. Last time I took my site down for a complete rebuild, it took 2 months to get it back up. And I only have a fraction of the models ecards has. I'm not worried. Ok, I am kinda worried that we haven't heard from Chris Gutzmer in a while though. Has anybody checked on him lately?
