Doing a Paper Model How To..
Hi everyone
March 2nd 2019 I will be at my local library showing people how to start a hobby of paper modeling. Here is link to library site: http://aberdeen.sd.us/1129/How-To-Fest My question to the group is this. I want to print out a simple model that I can pass out to people so they can do it at home. I want it just on one sheet of paper. I want it easy but more then just a box. Please let me know in the comments what you think. Thanks |

I don't know if Airdave is ok with this but you might try the models on his site. And you could ask him if it's ok to do it here. Dave's Card Creations Home

By all means, ask Dave first.

How about this simple and free download of Cape Hatteras Lighthouse?

Not a whole lot of lighthouses in Aberdeen. They might find it unusual and interesting

If you go to Airdave’s page, then “Free models”, then “Easy build”, you will see several vehicles and airplanes that Airdave has already granted explicit permission to print for events such as yours. They are just what you are looking for. Please read and follow his requirements on that page (they are easy - don’t modify the file, things like that).

Looks like great fun was had. Did you hand out the Eiffel Tower model as your sample?

This was a good idea. Was the turnout what the library was hoping it would be? What, in retrospective, would you have done differently?

Our Reno High Rollers IPMS Club provides a freebie paper model each year. Some are nice and simple.
