it is awful. especially as a species. but as an illustration of passionate feelings, we here at paper modelers have a singular common interest not shared by many other humans, making card models. even we get into very diametrically opposed opinions/arguments. true we don't have mortal encounters, but it is an illustration of how peoples form their own opinions and are prepared to defend them.

There are some truly sick people in this world. I used to work in counter-terrorism in a previous life. We used to always say we don't worry so much over the ones we know about because we can see what they're doing and stop them. Its the ones we don't know about who keep us awake at night.

First of all, our thoughts with the victims and their families. I agree that the most disturbing are the extremists of different ideologies that are among us. We must fear all the ideologies that generate an excessive hatred towards the human being who does not think in the same way.

Respectfully, this was not a crime borne of people who don't "think in the same way." This was a terrorist act carried out against Muslims and immigrants by a white supremacist. The victims were targeted because of who they were and where they were from, not because of what they may have thought.
