Emd f-7

The F-7 is 70 years old this year. Watch this space.
Took this photo during a trip in Alaska, 2011. It was in the garden of our bed-and-breakfast.
Watch this space for more.

Probably my favorite locomotive. When I was around 8 years old I got to sit in the cab of a blue and yellow Santa Fe Freight F-7 as it sat waiting for another A,T,&SF freight train to pass. I got the grand tour. Such a cool memory! Will this kit include the unmanned B-unit powercar as well?

I have a Santa-Fe "F Series" A, B and C (passenger) units archived that were published by Home - RXRModels.com. Their website is still there, but although there are a couple of other F series listed I don't see the Santa-Fe one. It may well have been a special offer some time back. I get the impression that their download outlet is/was Ecard models. So they may not currently be available just yet, but I see elsewhere that Ecard models are on the starting blocks for reopening.

On further reading of the RXR models website, I gather that they may have been reprimanded for using copyright logos on their models so they invented the RXR railway logo and liveries. I guess I must have downloaded my Santa=Fe version before this happened. But take heed Diderick , in case you too fall foul of the copyright police.
