Thanks for the update. I'm happy you have not disappeared. Hopefully you can recover old inventory, I had a good wishlist.

I don't understand...?

I have been very busy building and posting a build thread on my Gun Tractor.
I know its not an Israeli Aircraft, but...

And Nobi is posting a build of his small scale P51D.

And theres a build of a Polish cathedral.

And at least two science fiction related builds.

Oh, and it looks like two or three ship builds.

Ok, now I really don't understand.

Dave

You are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

All I am saying is to encourage folks to build more instead of worrying about when eCards site is going to be operational. I am not counting how many build threads, but the more the merrier.

That is all.

and your comment about "an Israeli aircraft" is uncalled for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You said "is there a slow down in building?"
Thats a pretty straightforward statement and question.
And your implication was that there were fewer build threads going on.

While I agree that forums are slower these days, there doesn't seem to be a lack of actual "build" threads.
A quick search of current posts proved that.
And since I know that you have a preference, and almost a fixation, for Israeli Aircraft.
I was joking that maybe you didn't look beyond that idea when you searched for build threads?

(Nothing wrong with IAF aircraft by the way, I have a few in my own catalog!)

but I do agree with you...focus more on build threads, rather than questioning whether ecards is back yet, is a good suggestion.
Although, we don't want people to forget about us either.

Would you like to start a build thread using one of my kits?
My treat.

Thumbs up

Dave

We are on the same page, but with differing view angles.

recall that I built and provided ( with your permission ) your simple builds during our local paper get together in Dayton and will do it again this year.

Yes, I would be happy to build one of your excellent jets. How about the Snowbirds Tutor? I will pay for it as well as a vacuformed canopy if you can provide it.

Here is a picture of one when I visited the Canadian aviation museum in Ottawa back in 2015

My first encounter with the Snowbirds was during my solo cross country flight in a Cessna C-152 coming to land at Quonset Point base in Rhode Island back in 1980. I followed one of the jets ( as best as I could )

Paper Kosmonaut, I hope some Chinese site does put Dave's free telescope up for sale.
I mean they are actually going to use their ink and paper and that should be worth something. Isn't that the reason they give for charging for copied free kits?

I am losing faith and excitement concerning Ecard models. A lot of time has passed I think this excellent store will be no more. What a pity.

Petestein...what did you not understand from the posts already?
Why promote the idea that ecards is definitely "no more".
Everything said so far indicates that in one way or another the store will be back.
Fingers crossed...and a more positive attitude would probably help things along?

Didrick...once again, just taking advantage of others to promote yourself?!
Not sure why you think its good etiquette, or respectful, or at all fair,
to respond to someone asking about the status of ecardmodels by pushing your own store, models and agenda?
Pretty ignorant if you ask me.
But its what I have come to expect, so I'm not that surprised.

I am afraid you are not following forum rules concerning respect to others. I am a member of other forums and comments like yours would mean that you are immediately banned from the forum so please refrain from expressing insults and unrespectfulness to us members of this very nice forum. Both myself and Mr. Den Bakker can comment and post anything here as long as it doesn't insult other members and doesn't promote piracy. Mr. Den Bakker has every right to show his models for sale. It is a help to those guys who want to purchase his card models that were at one time available on Ecard models and unfortunately no more. Ecard models can become once again active perhaps in 10-20 years or perhaps tomorrow. This is why people who sell their models through this web page, can and will list them not only here but on other forums because they need card modelers business. Otherwise, piracy will be encouraged.
