Ben Affleck is set to shoot THE GHOST ARMY next.



I'm a big fan of Ben Affleck's work...acting and directing.
So, when I read this, I got very excited.
I can't wait for this interesting and unique movie idea.
Although I love the DC and Marvel stories, it is nice to have break from superheroes once in a while!

"Ben Affleck has a new project to helm, based upon THE GHOST ARMY OF WWII by Rick Beyer & Elizabeth Sayles.
It's all about the exquisite ALLIED trick that made use of inflatable tanks and all sorts of additional trickery that fooled the Nazi forces and helped allow the final Allied push.
Nic Pizzolatto has penned the latest draft which Affleck will direct and star in.

If you don't know the US "Ghost Army" the story is fascinating.
Should make for a very cool film.
