John Jogerst, RIP

Hi all,

It seems we have lost another one of our paper modeling brethren,John Jogerst, known on the forum as Yogi, and Retired_for_Now, and the designer of the excellent Stomp Rockets, and a slew of satellites.

From what I have been able to learn, John passed on April 11, 2019, a very basic obituary was posted, with no further details.

I am very sorry to hear this. He was a retired Air Force officer, a very good model builder, and a kind, courteous man. I had not heard from him for some time.

Another person who will be remembered.

A real fine person.
He contributed a lot to this forum, and helped many modelers during his time with us.
An example to many.
Sad that he's gone. Happy that he gave us so much.

John was an awesome person. He showed me the plastic stomp bottle launcher for the stomp rockets.

It has been some time since I last heard from him.

Truly sad news!

Indeed, a great loss to our community. Yogi was always ready to help a ham-handed modeler (me) with building his designs. He will be missed.
