4-22-2009 for me. Was a little slow in jumping ship from the other forum when it became so commercialized.

Yes, I was one of the first members here on papermodelers.com but not the first, I am #20.
There are some members who registered well before I joined up.

And, in the days of cardmodels.net I was actually the #2 to sign up after Ron Burns, who initially created the forum back in 2002.

I joined Feb 2009, so just 10 years. I was brought up on Micromodels in the 1950’s and 60’s. No photocopiers then, so only one was completed. The threads which inspired me most were the pre Dreadnaught warships, but again I’ve only finished one. Still on Micromodels though with much more success! This is an excellent forum, well done to those who run it.
