Saw "909" back in the '80's at an airshow in Muskegon, MI, looking like it came straight from the factory. I must have shot a roll of Tri-X on it. Beautiful aircraft, tragic event. My prayers go out to those who lost loved ones or had family members and friends injured.

I love it when some member of congress takes a tragedy and turns it into a political issue…

909 was a beautiful bird. This breaks my heart knowing these people that died didnt have a chance. I can only hope the NTSB gets to the bottom of what happened.

They did have a chance, made it all the way back to the airport with enough energy to hit the ILS building and go 1000’ or so afterwards, so it it will be interesting to see what went wrong but the pilots were obviously trying.

Last year's traffic fatalities in US would have wiped out the entire 8,300 population of my little county seat farm burg 4 times over plus some, so, where are the politicians calling for the banning of roads and traffic?
Politicians are hypocrites, every last one of them who's not already a psychopath, that is. And I'm not kidding, Quote:
