This is a tragedy. My father (RIP), got a free flight in the Niine-0-Nine about 10 years ago because he had donated an authentic piece of B-17 history that the Collings Foundation didn't have (pilot/co-pilot pre-flight responsibilities checklist). I wouldn't be surprised if it was hanging right there in cockpit when she went down. I've been through the plane and have spoken to the crew a couple of times. Awful.

Sad to hear.This crash will only add more arguments for grounding vintage planes,definitely for stopping rides in them.I can imagine insurance lawyers going at it.

Horrendous tragedy. Heart goes out to the deceased and their families.
Went through the Nine "O Nine a number of years ago at our local airport.
