There's alway someone out there who enjoys spoiling the fun of others😾😾😾
Hopefully we'll see Mauther back on the 'net.

It is very unfortunate that many good things do not last forever. Someone saw that Papermau was a popular site and could be taken advantage of to generate "free" (at other people's expense) money and spoiled things for everyone who enjoyed it.
I will miss being able to visit every couple of days and find new and wonderful creations, especially the hard to find Japanese paper models, and to read the comments and learn a new Portuguese word or two.
I had my own virus scare recently and now when I cruise the internet on my Windows 7 computer I run the browser in Sandboxie (https://www.sandboxie.com) and on my Win 10 computer, I use Portable Opera pasted into Windows Sandbox to explore the Internet. It adds extra steps to access the internet but I would rather take a few extra minutes at worst have an infected Sandbox, than risk losing the entire contents of my hard drives.

Anyway, goodbye, and thanks for all the links.

Very sad news indeed. I feel so sorry for him. I loved his blog and visited it nearly every day. His original designs were wonderful. What a loss for the modeling community.

My web account allows me to have multiple separate websites, and I'd be willing to donate one to him. Can somebody get him to email me?

At this point, I feel fortunate that he sent me the email that he sent.

I replied that I was sorry for the end of an era and asked if he was going to go back to the French forum or what his plans were. As of now, I have not gotten a response.

I imagine he is getting inundated

If I haven't heard anything back in a week, I will shoot him another email

The *s strike again. Sad to hear, Mauther. Your page was a daily visit for me, such a wide range of subjects and interesting information. All the best to you, good friend. Ma te atua koe e haerere ki mua e hoa, Anthony.
