So. My post went a little left of what I intended.

I am opposed to the re-hashing/re-posting of past builds, unless your in the TBT thread.
Using your old builds, repeatably as a means of pushing your count, and continuously
posting about your collection, was my intent. I tried to make it a generic comment. That failed.

There ya go.

Well, I was completely confused.
I thought you were referring to the topic of making non-content posts just for the purpose of getting to the initial ten posts.(for new members obviously)

I have to argue, that reposting old content can be productive not only for the poster, but for those who did not see the original posts.
If given the opportunity I personally love revisiting old projects and reminding people of them.
I don't do it to pad my post count...but I might do it for self promotion and forum attention.

I definitely "rehash" my Koolwheelz "collection" a lot. LOL

Me thinks you have particular posts in mind, so I won't question.

Gotcha Ray, thanks for the explanation... I don't know too much about forums but I do know that I really enjoy the time I spend here, very informative...

Can I get in on this? I mean, like, I need another post on my count soooooo badly. And sorry about the Devastator rehash recently, but I thought it would be fun to compare notes.

I'm with Dave on this one. Having recently spent a few years away from the hobby and the forum, I missed a lot of outstanding builds. I didn't have time or motivation to go back and re-read the thousands of posts made while I was gone. Sometimes the first time I get to see some of these posts is if someone brings it back from the dead.

Also, it's not like having a high post-count is worth anything anyway, there's no reward for it. If people think having a higher post-count is some kind of status symbol. they need to get out more.

You have all brought up some good points. Things I had not considered. For that,
thank you. Sometimes it is good to hear others opinions.

As mine was just an opinion, it is one that can be changed.

I'm going to lock this thread, as I don't want it to get any more sideways.
