Pepakura Designer help

Hello,

I am trying to unfold a simple 3D model I created with Sketchup free, but Pepakura will not save anything unless I have a key. Is there any way I can save my progress without buying the full software? I think I used to be able to, but I can't remember clearly....

It's a cunning ploy mate ... The only way to get the latest Pepakura reader is to download Pepakura Designer (Free) ... which is deliberately strangled. The idea is to show you how useful Designer can be so that you'll buy the key to unlock it. The earlier editions of Designer were never free, but there were a few naughty ways of obtaining it. Looks as if this latest version may have closed the pirate's door.

Well... I guess they need constant support for software development. But the price seems a bit heavy for me..

I just remembered that the saving feature was the "Print to PDF" option. I have no idea how it works, but at least I got a few parts saved. Some folks on the internet have said that they ran into scaling problems with the feature... For now, I have no way to tell.

if worse comes to worse, you could always screen shot the parts, and then re-assemble in inkscape or something similar

Plus $38 for the license is cheap compared to maintaining a subscription to anything Corel or Adobe.
