Ecardmodels.com update!

Hello everyone!
Ecardmodels is set to reopen - again. Apologies for the problems. It really has not been going well at all. I was hosted on a physical server that died once, got fixed, backup was no good. We got the site working last time on a new shopping cart system. My server died again and again the backup was no good. I have moved to a completely new managed hosting solution that automates the entire backup and update process' s so all those problems should go away. I have a lot more resources as well at a lower price (cant beat that). Now for the down side - we need to list all the kits (again) everyone needs to register (again) you will not have access to your old kits (again). If you have your old email that shows you purchased a kit and need a copy of it let me know and send me the email. You will not have to repurchase the kit.

If any designers are watching this thread please know that we have everything you sent us before. If you have anything new you can send it my way and we will prioritize new inserts into the shop.

Good news, hopefully everything goes smoothly now. I would have walked away from the whole deal 6 months ago. So now just need to wait until you get the things I'm interested in loaded up.

im just waiting for it to be up and running as skyline appears to have disapeared so im hoping some of there models will be on ecards when it is sorted

I will say this.... I personally WAS ready to give up, this has been frustrating me and depressing me terribly. The excellent people that have been helping with the site are THE reason ecardmodels will continue to exist. I have A LOT of love and respect for these guys and I am very lucky to have them sticking with things. This iteration will have a lot of great things going for it compared to previous iterations. It might look the same to most people but under the covers its a lot more flexible, robust and secure. I am using a company for managed hosting and this is ALL THEY DO. So they do it VERY well.

So just let me send out a quick thanks to my helpers
John, Robert, Ray, Roy, Bart, Steve and many others that have helped along the way. One person I would like to mention that I still think of and miss is Elliot (Glenn). He was a good friend and helped shape ecardmodels into what it is today.
