Stay home, wash your hands thoroughly and regularly, stay healthy...and don't be a racist.

That's what I was thinking too! LOL!

I also love the CCP naming of the Virus. I hope we have learned a lesson and we start some serious social distancing from the Ci-Comms in business and education!

Stay safe folks. The fat lady has not sung yet!

Right from the start, I've never understood the whole "washing your hands" craze.
lol I know people who have stayed at home, stayed isolated in their own environment,
and yet think they need to wash their hands every 20 minutes!
As if somehow, the virus will magically appear in their home or on their hands and instantly infect them.

Why are they pushing "wash your hands" so hard?
Its just created another misinformed frenzy, in my opinion.

It should be explained better to people what and how to avoid the virus.
"Washing your hands will help stop you from transferring the virus from your hands
...and you need to wash hands (or hand sanitize) any time you come in contact with someone or something new that could be transporting the virus"

The virus thrives on most surfaces for extended periods...even paper and cardboard, for days.
You don't need to wash your hands if you just watched a movie!...
you need to wash your hands after opening your mail or picking up cereal boxes at the store!

My 85 year old mother is still very capable and self sufficient.
She went grocery shopping the other day, but felt secure since she wore her gloves and mask throughout the store.
Then came out of the store and got in her car...
took off her gloves and mask, put them in her purse, and drove home.
So, at some point, she touched the outside of at least one glove with a bare hand.
She also touched her steering wheel with her gloves, and then with her bare hands.
She probably touched her face a hundred times on the drive home.

I asked her if she had used her hand sanitizer (from her purse) when she removed the Gloves?
I asked if she avoided touching her steering wheel or wiped it down (with the wipes she carries in her purse) after touching it with her gloves?
She said "its okay, I washed my hands as soon as I got home".
And then she washed her hands again just to be sure.

We're all gonna get sick.

*Having said all that, I want to add something...experts will tell you that while the virus can live on various surfaces for days,
the main method of transmission (between humans) is personal contact. Involving blood, spit, saliva, sneeze or cough expectorant, fluids.
This is why we are being told to keep 2m apart.
You don't need to avoid touching things in the grocery store, or wash down your groceries when you get them home.

That doesn't look very appetizing.
