Jeep variants
Dear Friends:
Thought that this would be the place to start a thread. I keep coming back to thoughts of times past four wheeling in the area around Southern Colorado in the middle 1960's then as a young Archaeologist in New Mexico doing contract work for the Atomic Energy Commission I was around a fair number of ex WWII Jeeps some modified wildly some stock. Does any one have a list of reference books on the variations and modifications of the Military Jeep? I am getting an urge to find a moderate jeep model and make a group of modified jeeps. and a list of existing jeep models as a starting point (I remember that Chip Fin has a flying Jeep). I am thinking of the 1/32 scale as the standard build scale to use. Ideas Comments are welcome. Hope you and yours are staying Healthy, Miles Total insane would be to go to 1/16 scale and to too many parts in each model

Here is a small Jeep model that looks like it could be upscaled and super detailed.
http://exclusive-models.org/#/models/10 Its something to keep you busy while finding larger scale paper model Jeeps and hunting down reference material. |

Dear John:
I had forgotten about that model. One of the first things to do for me is go through 6 thumb drives and about 50 disks full of models from 20 years of down loading from the web any thing Jeep related will go into a folder on the desktop and will follow your lead and try to post here for others who are interested in WWII Jeeps. Air Dave has some Jeeps in his Diorama Kits. Modelik has one pre computer age, Hand drafted. May you and yours stay healthy Miles
