This is very sad news. I know he will be missed, not only as a fellow enthusiast, but also as a friend and helper. May his memory be eternal.

A great loss to our hobby. John did a beautiful repaint of Aaron's AJ-2 Savage into an aircraft flown at NASA's Lewis Research Center.

I am very saddened by this loss. John was a giant in our hobby, and a great guy. I never got to meet him in person, but we corresponded several times on this and that.

We are richer for his having been amongst us, and poorer for his passing.

This is realy sad. He was a nice guy offering lots of insight in regards to paper models and came across as someone willing to help out at all times. My condolences to his family and close friends. He will be missed.
