What about winds?

Click on the bottom calendar, you can see forecast winds for that day. On the right side it says "SURFACE" click on the tab and scroll up with it to check different altitudes.

You can add other info as well, like pressure lines, many other things to look at.

I like watching all of the interesting air leaving China and blowing across the Pacific straight into California, Oregon coastline.

Mike, I go to that Windy site everyday. There are some nice overlays you can use. Very informative.

I've checked it to the NOAA site that uses the aviation style arrows with barbs to indicate wind speed. Must be where the windy gets it's data. Exactly the same except for the animation.

It really helps when looking at the winds aloft for flying. Gives you a quick visual of speed and direction as you scroll up the altitude bar.

Yes, i have several layers showing different stuff, for me the pressure is just as important as the winds and temp.

Just wish I could receive the internet when flying long distances, would be great to know when to descend or climb for a better wind "Push" when traveling. If battling a headwind, those areas that seem to show little wind would be great to find.

Another clue is when there are several different changes in direction as you slide up the altitude bar, good chance turbulence is going to be interesting, at the level of the change.

One of the sites I use in my work, is NOAA's Nowcoast

You can toggle the various layers on or off, and zoom into your Area of Interest
And one of the cool features of this site, I can consume the data they provide into what we call an operation dashboard, of key interest to Emergency Managers with storms coming in or weather passing over
