Glad to hear that the move went well, Rick.
The view from you window looks nice, and I would be glad to have a train running past my house. I had that pleasure in the 1960s, when we lived in August and the Central of Georgia ran past the end of our big back yard. Of course, living near a level crossing is something else. Loud blasts of the train whistle a 2:00 in the morning would be disconcerting. Best wishes for happiness in your new home. Don

The city has a no horn zone through most of the city, so it is "pretty' quiet most of the time, except when a loaded train, with more than 3 engines comes rolling by, then the sound become a bit more intense.
There have been some interesting loads pass by, the wind turbine blade loads(now seen two of them) are the most interesting ones, all other loads are standard car haulers, bulk good, tankers and lumber cars
