Rick,
I do not know whether he is a member. He has designed several unusual and interesting Trek models; a laser pistol from the cage, a communicator and tricoder from STTMP, TOS phasers and communicators, Next Gen phasers, etc. Here's one of his websites: Obiwan Modeling Is that helpful?
