Disaster!

Well, South Africa is known for its electrical storms. Those on the last call we had will remember the examples of thunder provided!

Last night the house was hit and the alarm system was blown up, along with electrical circuits, my laptop, my two PC screens, router, etc. No Internet left - cabling blown up too.

As per usual, despite back-ups, a lot lost in the way of data and work.

Now to see how much I get from insurance. Cross fingers all!

And expect a low profile from me until I find my feet again.
