Whitewings
I was just wondering. Why are Whitewing kits going up in price, old and new?

Scarcity, people are staying home, need something to entertain the kids, maybe a cool science lesson

redux whitewings
I purchase mine at 10 t0 15 dollars, now I see the same ones going for $30 to $50 on Ebay. Have they stop production? You can get some similar planes on Canon site for free.

From the research I have done, I have not seen any new publication dates, most are 20+ years old

Just checked on the Whitewings sets in my stacks, the first set and what I take was a second set. The first must date from about 1987/88, the second is clearly dated 1992 (Both sets give a date of 1985 as the good doctor's appearance as a judge in a paper airplane competition). The first set has a copyright date of 1980. Hope this is of some help.
