I actually haven't had any of the vaccines this year. Completely wore out from the Medicare AEP, then dental work, and then our horrible weather in KC. Been a long time since I've had -9 F, probably the 80's. I don't enjoy it

I caught a covid in start of December last year and went through 10 hospital days of recovery... I don't need a vaccine now. Very terrible and important experience. Don't get sick, please.

My wife and I got our first shots today. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the facility was staffed by the National Guard. They ran a highly efficient, yet respectful operation. This was vaccinations for the 75+ crowd (which I have been a member for more years than I would like to admit ). You could pick out folks that had been in service. You would see an elderly man come through the door, with drooping shoulders, standing erect by the time he reached the corpsman with the needle. He would have that "I'm back in my element" look on his face. It was an interesting day. It was, also, a painless nostalgic experience.

Got the first shot this afternoon. A little soreness at the injection site , but really nothing unexpected. Hope the second one goes as well.

I am eligible due to my age, but am choosing not to get the shots. I can't seem to get that old cautionary adage "never buy a car in the first model year" out of my head. I'm being as careful as I can while striving to lead as normal a life as possible - still see my grand kids almost daily, occasional inside dining (sometimes with another couple), I wear a mask inside stores when required, but not outdoors, or while driving. I'm comfortable with my choices, and hopefully will be paper modeling for many years to come. For those who choose to get the shots - good for you. For those who choose not to - good for you, too.

covid

Got my first shot last thursday. A little soreness at the injection site ,otherwise nothing. Second one comes on the 11th of march. I dont remember any prob with the shigrex injection or the flu shots. My bypass operation last Oct.1st is a whole 'nuther matter. On the whole I'm feeling quite well now except for my back. I'm chicken to get a shot for it.

I heard that having Covid does not mean you are immune. So you may need to reconsider.
