I haven't been vaccinated yet, I'm waiting when we, teachers, will be on turn. Preference is given to people over 70, paramedics and, unfortunately, VIPs. Unfortunately, at the age of 55 and with high blood pressure, I also belong to an endangered group, and my son has an autoimmune disease, so we protect ourselves as best we can. The situation here in the Czech Republic is very, very bad now. People are very irresponsible and the government cannot handle the situation. I'm waiting for it to be better.

Got my first Pfizer shot yesterday April 13th and man is my arm sore!, it feel like someone punched me in the arm!

The facility was staffed in part by the National Guard, well run, well organized, I was in and jabbed within 10 minutes, had to wait another 15 for any subsequent reaction.

My comment to the vaccination doubters is, when was the last time you heard about polio? People of my generation were still getting it when we were children. It’s all but been eradicated in the US since the 60’s. I still remember the sugar cube, I was probably in kindergarten.

Kind of a sad state of affairs

I actually had covid a few months ago, thank goodness it wasn't too bad with me. It was bad, don't get me wrong, worse than any flu I ever had, but I didn't have to be hospitalized.
I got my fist jab of the Pfizer brand two days ago, and yesterday I felt like my arm had been hit by a train, and the rest of me beaten with a baseball bat! But today, everything seems ok

I got Pfizer #1 on April 1.

Nothing other than a stinging at the injection site, which quickly subsided.

No other effects/symptoms to report.

Pfizer #2 happens a week from tomorrow.

Glad to see we are here for each others' support and information dissemination!

I am now two weeks after the second dose of Pfizer vaccine, and hugely relieved. Transmission rates are high and rising where I live in Atlanta Georgia. My assistant was off work today for the third funeral in her family. This is nothing to trifle with. I am particularly glad that now that I am immunized, I won't be a source of COVID to those around me, like my wife. If you want to check on how it looks in your county (for US members) you can check CDCs COVID Data Tracker website. Just Google that title to get there.
