We met on holiday at 18 ... Married at 21 ... we're both 77 now and still going strong. "Pick the right one and they last forever." I love to brag, but to be honest, she did the choosin'. I'm still a bit baffled at what the heck she saw in me, but I was, and still am, only too willing to go along with it.

73 here. Retired at 65. Every day brings new challenges. A lot of things we worry about never happen and what we don't expect bites us in the caboose. Our carefully thought out life plan didn't survive contact with reality. Sometimes I'd like that "boring retirement" to start!

I try to something for just for myself for a while every day. Take a walk, ride my bike, work on a model, read a book, meditate. It's not being selfish, it's self care.
