Next transporter rig build
So, my mind keeps thinking through next projects, even while in the middle of my current one(s). Right now I'm thinking what my next long term transporter build should be. Thought I'd give you folks in the peanut gallery something new to weigh in on. This time though, I'm going strictly by nationality.

Whatever the choice is I will build, the payload (of my choice) gets built first....

What if you've already built the payload?

Well, I could always build a [I]different[I] payload....

Actually I already have the payloads picked out for the first three choices unbuilt. I have payloads I could use already built for the American choice(s) or I could build new ones.
So many options....what will it be..... Greg

Ok, I've determined the payload(s) for the two American Options I have to choose from. One payload would be a large hand drawn model, the other would be a more recently designed and published one.
The Czech choice would necessitate a "fictional" combo, because the transporter seems to only have existed as a prototype. The Russian combo is definitely from cold war times but the payload is a bit unconventional (i.e. not a tank) The German one is early WWII and would necessitate a combination of four separate models. Generating more interest.

It all sounds good, but here's a thought (Image 1) or, more in the era I am currently modeling, Image 2).
I look forward to seeing whatever you model and talking about it with you next month in Sterling. Don |

Thanks Don.
Image 1 would be beyond me at the moment. Image 2 would be closer to reality but would consist of a Mack pulling a flatbed trailer with a Cat Sixty on back. Greg

Well there's no "Brit" option in the vote, but I've never seen the mighty Antar lugging a Centurion depicted in paper. Just sayin' like! I remember an excellent Dinky toy set, and in the 60s I witnessed three real ones heading up Oxford Street the wrong way. The lead escort Land Rover took a wrong turn and the whole convoy just followed him. There was nowhere that they could turn them off and there were lots of fingers crossed as they went over the viaduct.
