Yeah, it's sad. He was a very energetic performer. As for the cause of his death, I read on Reddit (not the most trustworthy source of information, I know) he apparently wasn't vaccinated against covid-19. (and unfortunately also had the obnoxious behaviour that appears to come with a lot of those people...)

Still, it's sad.

Does appear to be due to Covid-19. He did appear to have numerous co-morbidities. Regardless of vaccine status or choice, he was quite the colourful character, RIP indeed.

I avidly looked forward to his new albums every few years. Have all his stuff and it never seems to get stale.

His last was "Braver Than We Are" (2016).

A lot of his music videos are also pretty good.

Thanks for sharing the sad news. If that is true that he was his not vaccinated, then it is even sadder, as his death could have been prevented so easily. (Memo to almost 70 year old self - don't forget next booster 5 months after last one.)

Gentlemen, The issue is the death of a person. Not his vaccination status. As i have been dealing with obnoxious people on both sides of the issue, I would request you leave that particular hot potato out of this and any other related threads of this nature.

If you feel the unquenchable need to make such statements, please leave your keyboard, walk into an adjoining room, scream into a pillow, and then return to the keyboard to finish your post without said post.
