Sorry, I did not realize how difficult your operation really was and how PAINFUL it must have been. Is it the morphine that enables you to smile in your picture? Hope you have enough sick leave or understanding employers who can find light work for you. Please update us on your current Charlemagne project as time goes on, but please take it easy.

 Well with the latest on TV now............... they can repair you.............. make you stronger..........faster............able to create better models...............no wait..........they can skip that one, so maybe it would only still cost 6 million dollars:p

Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery Carl. I know that I am not alone in missing progress reports on your beautiful French battleships and look forward to positive progress reports on your recovery. After tending my wife through rotator cuff surgery three years ago and aften my own triple bypass two years ago, I have a SLIGHT inkling of what you might be going through. But yours sounds considerably more grueling -- in spite of that beatific smile. Don B.

Dude, they got the enema bag hooked to your shoulder! Anyways get better, listen to your orthopod and by the way did you get to "borrow with an option to own" his arthroscope? Should make for nifty cockpit work or pics inside! Get better Carl!
