Monte Enterprises produced architectural models during the period (approximately 1967 - 1976).

The Alamo was produced in 1968.

See:
Paper Model Design Workshop

It appears that Monte Enterprises is still in business as a printing company.

See:
Get in touch with Monte Enterprises Inc in New Bern, NC.

I do not know if they still make card-models and could not find a website for the company.

A search for "Monte Enterprises" on Amazon.com showed 14 cardmodels, all listed as used.
If Monte Enterprises were still producing cardmodels, some should be shown as new.

there has been a great deal of historical and archeaological work done since 1968. the Monte model is not exactly accurate, but does do a good job of it, despite the obscure scale. it is not easy to get an idea of the interior of the chapel, photographs are not allowed. also, don't ask about ozzy osbourne's visit...

Here's one Alamo model - has this been mentioned earlier? Look at product description pictures - you get to browse and see all parts + instructions. You can actually download the hole model as a sample file too. Scale is 25mm and and it's representing it's appearance in 1836. Model by George Knapp Wargames.
