The first paper model kit I bought was in 1956 when I was twelve. It was a Micromodel, a building, but I don't remember which one. I tried to buld it but had neither the "fine motor" coordination nor the patience to do more than a couple of disastrous cuts.
The next model I bought was David Hathaway's USS Monitor from Papershipwright. I had built several free download models by that time, including two of David's, so I seem to have got better at it. The last model I have bought is Aerosane NKL-26 at 1:25 made by PK Graphica. It has not yet arrived. The next model I plan/hope to buy is yet to be determined. |
