First Kit, Last Kit, Next Kit
I saw a version of this on an unrelated forum, so it isn't an original idea...lol...but what say we give it a try?:D
What was the first card model kit you purchased? What was the last kit you purchased, from today? What will be the next kit you purchase? Have fun! I'll begin: First kit I bought was the F-15E with laser formers from (can we put where we got them?) Last kit I got was the F-86 and P-40 from ecardmodels. Ooops...next kit I buy will definitely be an architectural kit...probably from Domus or Betexa...not sure yet. Hopefully via a us online store...don't get me wrong, I don't mind buying from overseas, I just hate the postage and the wait. |

I can do this..I think
Hmm, first kit was a long time ago...and was actually the Paper Air Force program from...aargh, I can't remember the name of the site anymore. Last model I bought was..Uff that was a while ago too. Something Fiddlersgreen. Then I started designing, and mostly build my own stuff now. Sad to say I probably won't purchase a model. Between Lifetime magic keys at Fiddlersgreen, and designong my own models, I don't have the time. |

Hmmm, let's see. I think the first paper model I bought was a simple castle from Schreiber-Bogen in the early '80's. It was at the Deutches Museum in Munich. Built that.
The latest kit I purchased hasn't arrived yet. Modelik Hawker Hurricane, Orlik Kingfisher, Try Krapki P-47. The next kit I actually plan on buying is Michal's Type 2 Ka-Mi Japanese tank. Chris |

First Kit:
My first kit was actually a bunch of FG models back in '99. I still have the files, still with the original time stamps. I can see that it took me over an hour to download all 6mb of PDF files lol. They were: Cobra helicopter, Bristol F2B, F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, Sopwith Camel, Fokker DR.I (Red Baron), F4U Corsair, Fokker E.III Eindeker, P-38 Lightning, P-40 Tigershark, P-51 Mustang, Sea Harrier, Mig-29 Fulcrum, F-16 Falcon (Thunderbird), Panavia Tornado. Seems that the Eindeker file has since gotten corrupted but the rest are all good. Classics - old cartoonish graphics - mostly '98 revisions. I plan to build a couple for FGMM. Last Kit: A buddy got me der Kampfflieger's 1/72 OH-6A Cayuse Helicopter for my birthday last year. I've also gotten a bunch of DGA models free from ECardmodels in exchange for built model photos, as well as a Marek Classic this week on the same deal. Next Kits: I don't foresee the need to purchase anything anytime soon - my build pile is huge (aren't they all?) and with the ECardmodels trade for pics program, I could potentially build for free (other than ink, card, tools, etc, etc.) indefinitely. :p Though I'll probably want to try my hand at a more complicated pre-printed kit at some point...
