Had a job interview today.....went great until the interview asked " do you have Post traumatic stress disorder "..... He then went on to explain how they wanted to avoid any workplace violence.....I wanted to deck him, but my hands have just become 100% usefull again......what an ass.

judging from your reaction, "I wanted to deck him", maybe he could see that feeling in your body language and had concerns about how you'd fit into the workplace. You just never know what people sense about how you carry yourself.

Good luck in your future interviews, you need to become more aware about how others perceive you.

And, you might check with VA/DAV etc, that could quite possibly be
illegal and/or discriminatory. Unless the position requires the carrying
of a weapon.

I totally understand and feel your pain,.. hang in there buddy,.. you'll find something soon where the boss ain't an ass,.. if this guy is like that during the interview that's a red flag that he is like that all the time,.. you deserve better for what you have done,... I agree with and would research what TEXMAN has mentioned ,.. there is no need crap like that during an interview,..

Would also check with Department of Labor both state and federal. There are limits (depending on the job) of what employeers can ask about medical history - physical and mental.
