The ultimate papermodel
I've been building and collecting papermodels a long time, and I just wondered what would be the ultimate papermodel...
It would be fun to gather suggestions and make a poll, or something, so here are a few of my suggestions.. The Alan Rose DC3 The Wrebbit Mercedes The Prague Castle The Kooklik Big Boy The Dr Zarkov F15 The KenLWest XB 70 |
Lifesize Jessica Rabbit
or Ironman with usable Instructions |
You have a point ( even 2 points) there with the Jessica Rabbit, but what i meant is one that already exsists:D
|
It would be hard to top the model of the entire walled city of Prague, I think.
|
Anyone mention the Halinski Fuso? Or am I missing the true spirit of this? :D
|
Probably need to define 'ultimate' first...in terms of size I thought that GPM's Me-323 Gigant would take some beating; in terms of pushing the edge of the envelope, KenLwest's XB-70 or B-58, or uhu02's Discovery would all have to be in the mix...and then there's the ultimate in candidates for divorce like the 1/100 Arizona...

Big, Big
And the big and free 1/48 scale Saturn V, of Leslie 48?
More models...... Regards, jose luis |
Any one of BARRY's delights, and the new comer DORIS with her HMS VICTORY :)

I think that to choose the Ultimate Paper Model (UPM) we would have to make some considerations:
1) It must exist; 2) It must be a work of weight (a piece de resistence); 3) It must be something that everybody would consider doing at some point, even if one could feel that was not up to the task. I would suggest to include the 1/430 Sulaco. |
I would definitely put the Modelik Scud Launcher model into consideration, IMHO.
