Busy Busy Busy....
Just want everyone to know that I've not been able to spend as much time here lately as I'd like too...This is bitter sweet...After being out of work for over a year and a half, returning to school last year full time and finding a part time job... I was called back to work by my old company last week and I started back this past Monday. In that instant all my free time just disappeared. I went from working only a few hours a week back in to the groove of working over 60. Even though I'll not be building as much and hanging out here as often as I did in the past, I'll still pop in every now and then to keep up on things. Right now my goal is to finish up my Sherman build for the October convention...and begin working on a B-17 project with Ron40.... We'll see how it all goes. That's it for now.

Kevin,
Glad to hear you are back to your old job and getting some overtime. On the B-17 project just take your time and watch Billy's build. There are no time constraints. I know you will do a good job on her. Ron |

Great to hear that things are working out in these tough times - I'm much the same and hoping that offered new work will kick off next week - and that the time away from home required for that appointment will also provide some decent opportunities for night time model building... Simon

That is a mixed blessing Kevin. Congrats on the job. I hope it works out the way you want. Will you be using any of the stuff you went back to school for?

Great news Kevin! Model building time is fine, but paying the bills is paramount. You'll get your new (old) routine down in no time, and build, build, build....
Guess you and Al Pacinio can commiserate now: Mike

Kevin,
I am so glad to hear you got called back to your job. The hours sound rough, but I'm sure the work is welcome. I look forward to seeing you pop in every so often. Jeff |
