Hurrah! I've sussed it!

Hello folks,
I've just worked out how to create an Avatar! What with pixel sizes and whatnot, I could not resize any decent images. Anyway, I've recently acquired a new software package (Serif photoplus X2), which has all sorts of bells and whistles for photo and image manipulation.
So, who is he? Well, if you have children and grandchildren, you will know him very well (in the UK anyway).

You are a better man than I gunga din. I've tried severial times to put one up did'not work then the magic farie. I assume one of the KEEPERS of the site did it for me without me asking(THANKS). I have not seen the charactor on TVO edu channel from Tronto Canada. Some will tell us

Thanks Miles,
It was more by accident than design. The image was saved as a certain pixel size (100*80 I think) and used that way.
He's called 'Piggle' and is from a BBC children's program called 'In the Night Garden'.

Your avatar is frequently seen on Treehouse TV here in Canada. Miles, I doubt TVO would run it. Much of their entertainment television seems to have diminished.
