Another E-Bay Pirate

Someone called "dunxmanga" is selling "digital delivery" kits on E-Bay, some of which I know to be copyright violations.

Ah but remember that the one who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the one doing it.

:D

Just kidding, after all it is silly season, please resume taking things seriously.

posting about pirates only helps their cause because...

- people are going to buy pirate models
- owner's of copyrights are unreachable and don't involve themselves in the community they build for
- Your wasting your own time and effort attempting to get these pirates on Ebay's site shut down. A task that is equal to toppling a government it seems.
- Ebay makes money from them so they support it
- Ebay is automated in such a way that pirates of our hobby van get away with it
- Ebay sellers are ignorant of what is going on and support piracy of our hobby which was indicated to me right on their own forums
- Pirates can stop selling and pop-up either with a newer ID or a few months later

first of all, i own copyrights. i am reachable, and i do get involved to the extent neccessary. i have not had any copyright problems with e-bay, or i can promise you i would make it e-bay's problem. if you can make it the seller's problem without involving e-bay, all the better.

second of all, the real crime would be to do nothing at all....

I agree with fighting the good fight. For point of reference there are two models from yours truly that would be offered for free right now except for my own paranoia about pirating. Govts will have to crack down on this some day but only when the cry becomes loud enough.

...Like... 100 years from now? :D We need to make things happen, not rely on the help of someone/something else...
