Dear all,

After the meeting with the Animate Group president, he, as an experienced marketeer and models expert, pointed out that;

1. Instruction with clear illustration must be clearly explained for facilitating novice and new comer.
2. Colors must be printed with the model on the right specific paper, as ready made model.
3. The tranparent plastic canopy will be provided with the book. Each book will contain around 20-30 models for each category, Fighter jet, Attack Jet, Bomber, Cargo.........He considered that the modelers need the model not the book without instruction.
4. Expert team was set to facilitate the aircraft performance data and information.
5. All book will be the whole redesign.
6. The price for each book is 100 baht (USD $3-4 dollar) but you get 20-30 models for each book.

The president has an opinion to launch this program internationally. What's a vision!

LOL

Hi, Chiwat!

Well, that certainly sounds very promising...it does sound like the publisher has a nice idea to use your fantastic designs and to make them widely available. The use of the plastic canopies has me intrigued, I don't recall seeing a situation where a model offered in book format, or in fold, also includes a canopy, but if it can be packaged safely that sounds awesome.

I note he wants the models as published to be colored...I sort of wonder about that, as when I was first made aware of your models one of the intriguing things about them was the fact that you hand painted them with watercolors. Of course, to have them pre-colored is also great, and obvoiusly easier for the novice, but I thought part of the book was to explain your coloring technique, so I am a little unclear now about how that will work out. I suppose this is part of the redesign aspect of the whole book you mentioned.

Kindly do keep us all informed as this project proceeds, we are all very interested and look forward to the date of publication, when your models will have the international exposure they deserve!

Cheers!
Jim

Dear Jim,

The president of this publishing company well experienced of international plastic model market. He is an expert of the models around the world. After he saw the airborne F-16 paper airplane model, he immediately got a great idea, why doesn't made them easy for everyone and being common goods in the international common market. It means he wants to make it common for everyone and easy to reach in common market. You may see my models on sale even in the Seven Eleven or Tesco Lotus in the future! LoL. That's the reason why the book must be the whole new redesign!!!

To solve the problem for all modelers, especially the novices, he has an idea to make the book easy to sell while the buyer can easily make this complex models. They must be success to make the paper airplane models they want. That is the main reason why it should be prepainted into the book instead of the hand paint. The model will be repainted by the expert team. They will carefully study the aircraft marking and emblematic while the aircraft performance will be provided for children educational purposes. What's the great idea!!!

It's very easy to make the ready made canopy for each model and contain them into the box for each book. He will put the book into plastic bag and seal them carefully as package. Then, it means everyone will simply fit the canopy in then glue it with the model. This will simplify everyone from difficulties of making the chaiwatkom's vaccum form canopy technique.

He's the real marketeer but I will lost my first initiative, however, I consider that the end user or buyer will certainly get the models he wants, not only the outline book. Probably, when I become an old man, I will again see my original work that contain 500 models in the book as I had the first wish.

It becomes a common goods!

chiawatkom, it is no surprise that a publisher would pick up on your endeavor. It is a sure bet. Congratulations and may you achieve your well deserved success. You certainly are an inspiration to those who think and use their hands. That covers a lot of people, if in fact, not everyone!

After the meeting with the publisher, now, I am pursuing working on the new generation of my paper model. Soon, it will be released for public viewing. The F-16 and F-5 family were painted.

Thanks for your asking.

Dear all,

After finished assembly the F-16 and F-5 E scale 1/200. I found that the models are amazing with the emblematic and colorful commoflage theme while the flying capacity also added into the models. It made this model so fantastic while I saw them flew through the window.

Soon, I will post them for your viewing.
