Mad Max Falcon
I bilt the Mad Max Falcon as it was found in a wrecking yard near where I use to live some 25 odd yrs ago, it was found foound upside down and the guys that found it where amazed that it was still in basicly one pece although extremely damaged, my model shows only a small amount of damage as if I where to model it as it wa found it I would have to destroy 3/4 of the model. I hope yu like how I have depicted the Mad Max machine years after the film.

To be honest with Mchale I wish I knew, I've had this one for some time even though I'm reasonably new to cardstock building on a large scale I have built them over time for about 3 years but this car sorry buddy I have know idea where I got it from which is annoying as I want to build it as the rebuilt Falcon all nice and shiny.

This gentleman here, Cláudio Dias designed the car and you can find it on his website. His design isn't banged up like the junkyard version, although I'm sure you could do that to the model if you wanted. He does excellent work and has incredible models.

No problem, I just hoped I hadn't overstepped my bounds. But yes, I love your work. And so very nicely detailed.

Mchale this is where I got the original model from, after seeing the website by going to it I now remember BUT as for the photo of the wrecked car and it being on its roof sorry my friend can't help you it's only from memory which even though I'm 60 is still very good. I do how ever remember where in the yard it was and you wouldn't belive what they had in that corner with it, if I told you no doubt you would probably say I was telling porky pies but Mchale most of the wrecked Mad Max film cars where there and I am talking some 25 odd years ago now, I haven't been back since as I now live 24 kilometers south of the city of Adelaide. South Australia, my home state. At this time also thank Claudio Dias for creating a wonder design of the Falcon he got it spot which not many people can do.

You mean they didn't make it to "Thunderdome"? I feel violated. I bet the real car is worth money, banged up or not. I am surprised someone has not grabbed them for that reason, or maybe they have.
