Few pointers Papermate if you allow. The wheel openings are at different level with each other and I don't think they should, I think the front one is a bit too high. Also the front bumper is not big enough (it should reach lower) and the back bumper is too big (it reaches too low). The problem in the front is more prominent and should be fixed like you said. If you draw a line from the upper lewel of the rear bumper it should be level with the front bumper upper level and parallel with the door lists.

Thanks Tappi for your remarks, high-lighting the problem areas. I think now is for the designer, SiBongJu, to make the corrections. I'm just a builder and know nothing much about designing. Any comments, SiBongJu?

To make up for the "defects", I added chrome parts on the body as shown in the pictures. A reference photo of the B&W, provided by Si, shows some details, too.

Profession!
The important part is that: I think the body need to be arc like this Some of my friends tried to use my template to make a CV , they said they couldn't make the body, the reason is that they forgot to make the body arc |

No, Si, I'm not a professional but just an amateur. Just wonder what software are you using to create the plan for the car? What about the other two cars, do you have plans of them for me to try? Would love to know.

I use Mspaint % Paint Shop to make the template.
The other two cars? You mean 1997 CV and 1991 LTD CV? The templates are in my home. |

The CV is done. Will post B&W later.
Hope you'll get well soon and nothing serious. If you happen to be able to come to this forum while hospitalized, hope you would enjoy the pictures of what you have designed. Great work, I must say, for someone who is not in the model design profession. Aren't you, anyway? What I have added are side mirrors and windscreen wipers. Also, axles for the CV which is now rollable like a toy. I left the windscreens, front and rear and sides untouched on purpose. BTW, if you would like to have it, I mean the real thing, not pictures, just PM me your mailing address and treat it as a gift, not a perfect one though. Papermate |
