Ford Crown Victoria

(Pictures are very big, So I just give the link, Please click to see the pic. otherwise your computer may become very slow even Crash!)

I'm angry with the situation of Paper car model!

Nissan GT-R R35,Nissan Teana,Mitsubishi EVO X,Subaru Impreza Sti,Aston Martin DB9,Lamborghini Gallardo,MINI Cooper, When they come to the world, their paper models can appear in 2 years.
But Ford Crown Victoria(1998-2011) has been on production for 12 years! Still no paper model!

Oh, there're some paper models, but they're not successful!

However, Anger is not Solution. I still need to make one.
Now I'm on the way! Nobody makes it? I'm making it!:D

Seems like there was just a thread on this. In fact there were two. One was yours posting the same concern and showing some of your designs. The other is here:

Crown Vic

In that thread there are a few links to available Crown Vic models.

I think the reason that European and Japanese vehicles are well represented in paper models is that the Europeans and Japanese represent the majority of paper model designers and builders. Americans seem to like their mass-produced plastic models. American muscle is well represented in that medium. We just need more designers like Grizzley and his excellent Camaro.

These two, Yeah, I've seen them. However, Crown Vic is not a rectangle. So I don't think they are good enough and design this.

Hi SiBongJu,
I have tried to build your model and here it is, after one day's work. First, the templates were laminated on thick cards and then curled and bent by hand.
Ford Crown Victoria-dsc_0700.jpgFord Crown Victoria-dsc_0701.jpgFord Crown Victoria-dsc_0702.jpg

Ford Crown Victoria-dsc_0703.jpgFord Crown Victoria-dsc_0704.jpgFord Crown Victoria-dsc_0705.jpg

I used tabs a lot and built from top down the front and rear windscreens and then the sides, and then the bonnet and the trunk. The front grille and bumper, wheels and underside have yet to be fixed. How do you like it? I would suggest that you use PVA glue instead of cellotape, unless of course, if you would establish your own style with tapes. If you don't mind, you can post the templates of the two other models in your last photos. Then, I'll try to build them, how's that?

Here's some more but I don't like the front bumper that I built. Improvements are needed. I'll put in the wheels and side mirrors etc later.

Enjoy the pictures.
