Customisable Skateboard

Hey all, here is a template I designed recently. Its up for free download on my Playing with Art site, so please feel free to go grab it. Its a blank template so anyone can build to hand paint, or if you are the digital art enthusiast, then tectures & colors can added via Illustrator or similar prog before building.

I love the idea of having different models available other than just airplanes.
This is surely a refreshing addition to any collection.
And the fact that it is customizable makes the model very attractive
to unleash creativity further beyond the assembling proccess.

I, however, am sad to see so many angles and folding lines. :(
Since a skateboard has so many curves and round pieces,
I would have preferred "natural" and complete curves,
instead of straight lines and many angles.
But it's just my personal preference.

In any case, I already downloaded it and am thinking
on ways of customizing it. :D

I saw your other models, and I like a lot that they are easy
and also uncommon. And they are all customizable!
For me that's a great plus!! They are very attractive.
And the "Rockface" is awesome. I loved it.

Bookmarked! And will surely be following your creations.
Have a nice day.

Hello fellow skateboard fan! I like it alot!
This is the third skateboard paper model I have seen...(the first was mine).
The second was called SK8...but I cannot seem to find it.
I am inspired by your method of creating the 3d deck. I may draw from your example and finally finish mine.
Thank you for posting!

Wow, thanks for your nice comments. It makes the time spent designing all worth it.

@ Niebla - I make all my Paper toys customisable, so that people can personalize them & have fun with the models once they have downloaded. Thats why I called the site Playing with Art. There will be more models soon.

@ Phil - I checked your link for the deck you created. I love the Trucks on your model, very realistic.
