Today, I decided to take a break from the Apollo Astronaut and do something a little different...
So far, I just spaded out some general shapes of the "Pie Wagon"; based on Internet pictures. Then, knowing that the wheels are 21 inches diameter, I could scale the model pretty close; modeled in full scale. I am thinking this will be a 1:12 scale. This is small enough not to cause a storage issue, but large enough to put all of the visible detail in the model. Here are 3 pictures of the general layout... Ken

I like this too, But stop at 1/25-1/24 scale as a max! TOO many to display when built!!!
I have a Friend in the local car club that owns a newer Old panel van I think it is a 1923!!!! Compared to the Ford T it is Big too!!

I would love to see a 1:12 model or even 1:6. It's always easier to downscale then upscale

Oh Yeah!!!!, I prefer 25/24 but as Mr. Friesen noted its easier to downscale then upscale....and that is a tiny vehicle. I've been collecting photos from the internet of this and many other vehicles plus have a fairly large library of automotive books, magazines and brochures (althought they tend to be later vehicles) so if you need info on anything feel free to contact me. Your designing skills are so far ahead of my ability that I have no problem be a researcher/reference source.
