Citroen H van, Schreiber-Bogen, 1:24 scale

Yet another Schreiber build thread, this time the eponymous H van. These vans remind me of childhood days growing up in Belgium.

This kit consists of four sheets of parts and one instruction sheet. This model has a difficulty rating of two out of three.

Again, this will be a straight build from the kit.

Tim

Tim; It's going to be fun watching this one. the "Tube" is one of my favorite cars. I hope everything goes well with the build.

Yeah! I loved that movie, especially the Type H and the long sinister looking black 2CV limos the gangsters drove.

Those Long Black 2CV are begging to be made into paper models. They would be a better paper model than they were a real car, (though real car is a bit generous, n'est ce pas!

Were those Limo's 2CV or Tractions? I do not know French cars well at all.

I have build this one , a couple of years ago, it's the most accurate model of the HY I could find ( I owned and drove a real one for a couple of years),
You guys are mixing up the 2 Cv with the Traction avant, the Traction Avant is the ( pre -war )Limousine and the 2CV is the little car that every French farmer and every Dutch hippy drove...

Yep, and there is a great model of it; unfortunately the company who made it went out of business a couple of years ago

I have a Japanese PDF of card 2CV AZU (van) if you'd like it.
Nowhere near as complex as the one in your picture though.

I also have a DS, an XM Break, a Cloverleaf, and six variations of HYs.
These are all simple one sheet models though. Nothing complex.
I've never come across a card model of any of the TA versions though.

I will follow this build. I may get that model. It would make for a great diorama.

I am glad to watch you build anything, Tim, especially anything Citroen.
