Corvette

Look what I got in the mail today...
I bought it on E-bay, and since the Euro is so high, it was a bargain
Pitty that with the crash the "car talk" in Phil's 'I love papermodels" thread was lost, but maybe we can continue here:D

Looks like a neat project to follow. Not a fan of that Corvette (I am too short to ever get comfortable driving one at 5'8") - but looks like an interesting model

Billy,

I have this kit also, and I was able to meet Alan Rose too, but I failed to get the book signed by him, and the DC-3 book he authored too.

Which background are you going to go for?
the white tech background
or the Hollywood Hills background with a shot of Los Angeles?

I take it you going to build it ( I Hope). I really look forward to this. A friend of mine has a real one, it's about 100 feet from me as I type.

Gotta love a card model designer with a sense of humor :D As a Chevy guy, I will be watching this closely.

Personally I like this 1984 C3 Corvette, it really shows a future step in the design of the Corvette

the current version is getting a bit too rounded for my taste
