Mes Respects Genial `a Toi, Uyraell.

"For Myself, `tis not a question of "if", but "when".
You have found a very beneficial way for those who have our hobby of paper modelling.

It is true that I lack certain talents within it as yet.
Even so, you have my Respect always for those items you have gifted us, your audience. Effectively, your supporters.

I Thank you greatly, and profoundly.

Kind and Respectful Regards, Uyraell.

((PS: I Apologise for my French: it has been many long years since I last wrote in the language. -- Uyraell.))

Papermodelfan : I think that I have talk to my publisher and suggest him that the books must be on US amazon !
Uyraell : Many thanks for your compliments. No matter with your french, my english is not very good (I'm not sure that all that I wrote could be understood here... even if I try to write simple sentences) :-))

I have made some new robots.
The green "Destructor" H25 is a special one, with more sophisticated textures (made with illustrator). The sheet was also printed with a laserprinter (a test....) because I 'm not satisfied with my printer (a very cheap one, a Canon 550). The result is really nice with the color, but the textures are all broken on the edges I have folded, not nice.
The laser printing doesn't seem to be a good solution for a papermodeler.
So...

Problem with the laser ink is that is not going into the paper, but just sits on the surface. You could try spraying it with a fixative (clear laquer), it might solve the flaking. I had the same problem with my early models before I got my own inkjet printer.

The models themselves look nice, clean and easy.

I just finish my last group of papermodels : the actual title of this volume is "Emergency", but I need to found a better one. this group contains police cars, fire trucks, ambulance, tow truck, garbage truck. The book will be published in may or june.
I have fun to design those simple models, but less than the robots !!!

Terrific work as usual, Pat!

I really admire how you capture the look and spirit of the subjects so accurately, yet the designs are so simple. Bravo!
