With the Yamaha models the most effective way to build tires according to my experience is to build from inside to out. Meaning, starting from the wheel and building up the sides and finishing with the outermost strip. But see what works for you

hi people,
well ................ it's finished... well, I found individual components build was fine......... it was putting the different part groups together that gave miner probs........... with size mainly. an enjoyable build even though I had to build both wheels twice regards don |

hi people,
NStarkel........ I made this one from 80g paper and yes it is a bit 'tender' but with card stock it prob would be 'not too bad'......... the frame is good, and the front forks are not bad being tubular, and the small 'box section' swinging arm is ok..... regards don |

Nice work Don!!
The effort in building the wheels twice does show. I wish I had that resolution everytime I make a part that I don't like, I'm too lazy. You did a splendid job in this one...I hope you got the taste of bikes and start another soon. Best regards |
